Snow types

If you are about to ski in and around Les Gets, for those of you maybe not so experienced and the experienced, remember that the Eskimos have I think 26 words for “snow”! In otherwords there are so many different textures/types of snow, with varying temperatures you can have a change in snow from powder to heavy snow within 50m. So what I hear you say, well in fact we ski differently in each type of snow and our bodies adapt very quickly with experience, if you get it wrong it can mean the difference between knee traumas/falls or not, especially when you hit the heavy stuff! Keep an eye out for how many diffrent qualities of snow you find in your holiday.
